This May, a new floral series by Fleurs de Villes will make its Canadian debut in Toronto, including a beautiful installation at Yorkville Village. Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE, presented by the Bloor-Yorkville Business Improvement Area, will be on display from May 10–14, 2023. The free floral show, which celebrates the cultures, people and heritage of iconic global destinations, will include 35 stops, each featuring floral mannequins and installations created by talented local florists and event designers. “Fleurs de Villes champions talented florists on an international scale, and we’re delighted to bring Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE to Toronto for its Canadian debut as we honour timeless monuments, diverse traditions, and notable people around the world,” Karen Marshall, Co-Founder of Fleurs de Villes, said in a statement. This year’s Dreams and Fantasies-themed Bloor-Yorkville Icefest will be taking place from February 18–19, 2023. Free and open to the public, the annual event will feature a host of beautiful, unique sculptures—inspired by dragons, unicorns, mermaids and more—expertly carved from over 60,000 lbs of ice. Taking place outside Yorkville Village and throughout Bloor-Yorkville from noon until 11pm each day, the popular winter event will include ice sculptures, ice carving demonstrations, an ice lounge and an ice wall with projections.
