Meet the Artist

Anthony Ricciardi is a celebrated multi-disciplinary artist hailing from Toronto, Canada, whose artistic journey has taken him across the globe. Renowned for his striking collections, he has also curated large-scale artwork and clothing for prominent figures and collaborated with esteemed brands such as Disney, Adidas, Coors Light, and L’Oreal.

However, Ricciardi's story is far from conventional. Despite beginning his academic and professional career on a baseball scholarship at Alabama State University and subsequently spending five years as an analyst for an investment fund, he ultimately chose to depart from the corporate world of finance to pursue his true passion: art.

How do you believe your artwork embodies your dreams?

As a colourblind artist, my process involves painting in layers, each unfolding like its own story, imbuing the final piece with depth and complexity. These layers of colour are reflective of my personal experiences and serve as the cornerstone of my work. My spray-painted heart, a recurring symbol in my art, serves as a constant reminder to follow my heart's true calling.

How has art empowered you to pursue the life you always dreamt of?

Art has broadened my horizons, allowing me to travel and encounter diverse experiences worldwide. Along the way, I've had the privilege of meeting remarkable individuals. My aim is to keep crafting inspirational artwork globally, encouraging others to pursue their passions with courage and determination.
